About The Webmaster

Find out about the guy behind the site in this section of About. Not very interesting but worth the read if you have the time.
Who Am I ?
I am David from Toronto, Ontario. I am the owner and webmaster of Cory Stillman.com and founder of the Internet Players' Association (IPA).
I am 19 years old however I have had the Internet since 1995 and therefore have an extensive knowledge of the Internet; in turn, this site
is easily made possible.
Why Cory Stillman .com ?
I have heard this question one too many times. Why make a site about Cory Stillman? There are hundreds of players who are regulars in the
NHL. However, Cory seems to stand out for me when compared to many other players in the league. It all started at the 1999 World Hockey Championships
where Cory played an excellent tournament, where he lead the team in scoring. From that point on the unknown was a star in my view and made me continue
to watch him in the NHL. He then continued his career with the Calgary Flames (98/99) where he lead the team in points (27 goals, 57 points),
while already coming off a 27 goal season the year before. Unfortunately he ended his next season early with an injury where when he left he was leading
the team in goals. This surely showed me how great of a player he really was. When traded unexpectedly at the trade deadline by Calgary Flames GM
Craig Button, it angered me as a fan because of the fact that Cory had only learned of the trade while watching SportsCentre and didn't see it coming.
He had told SportsCentre that he did not expect to be traded and was not informed by the team, and only heard about it on the television minutes before.
However, it proved big for St. Louis as he scored a huge double-overtime goal in the playoffs to help take a commanding 3-0 series lead versus Dallas.
This is the most memorable goal I have ever seen and will remain in memory for a life time, it was such an outstanding goal with perfect timing and huge
pressure. The rest is history..
What on earth is in that picture ?
In short, that would be me, with an MGD, cigar, and a really big sandwich. Freedom is a good thing when you get the house to yourself isn't it?
