Moderator: Brent Johnson is here and we're ready to start today's chat

#1johnnyFN: What do you do when you are not playing hockey?

Brent Johnson: I like to play guitar and I collect movies since I'm a big movie buff.

festus90: How do you prepare for a big game?

Brent Johnson: I make sure to get a lot of rest, I make sure my eyes are rested so I can see the puck closely during the game.

bigfan44: Do you guys practice every day of the week?

Brent Johnson: Yes, with the exception of some Sundays.

Nate 89: Are there going to be enough key scorers for the Blues during the playoffs this season?

Brent Johnson: If we have everyone healthy there will be no problems putting the puck in the net during the playoffs.

pookus: When did you know you wanted to be a goalie?

Brent Johnson: When I was about 13 years old, I played goal for one full season and knew that was the position for me.

DasSub: Since Cory Stillman has been with the Blues for his first full season, has he gotten more comfortable with the team?

Brent Johnson: Absolutely, he's playing with a lot of grit. He's been playing good hockey for us.

ILovBrent: How long have you been playing hockey?

Brent Johnson: I've been playing organized hockey since I was about four years old. When I started out I was a defenseman.

LuvGoalies: Who was your hockey idol growing up?

Brent Johnson: My grandfather, he was a Hall of Famer who played for the Red Wings.

LuvGoalies: How often are you recognized in public, and does this bother you?

Brent Johnson: Actually not often, probably since I wear a face mask. If I do get recognized it doesn't bother me at all.

rOCKMAN: How much has goaltending coach Keith Allain kept up on you and Fred about consistency and play level?

Brent Johnson: He been great, he's here one week out of the month and during that time works with us on drills to keep our positioning right.

Bluesfan: Who designed your mask and did you have input?

Brent Johnson: A guy from Detroit designed it for me and I had a lot of input with the design, it reflects Led Zeppelin which is my favorite band.

Blues1: Was it disappointing not to make the Olympic Team?

Brent Johnson: I would have liked to been there but they made a great choice with the goaltenders they selected.

12345: Do you see yourself in 2006 on the Team USA hockey team?

Brent Johnson: I hope so! I think I'll have a better shot than I did this season!

Stacy-L.: What does the 12 in the circle stand for on the back of your masks?

Brent Johnson: It's my grandfather's number that was retired by the Red Wings. It's in memory of him.

Freddy40!!: What goes through your mind when you start a game and when someone takes a great big shot at you?

Brent Johnson: I constantly say to myself, focus, concentrate and be confident.

freddy: When does coach Q. tell you which goalie is going to start ?

Brent Johnson: Usually the day before a game.

palwagner: Have you ever really wanted to start a fight on the ice?

Brent Johnson: Yes I have but only if I snap do I think about fighting.

Blues1: What type of music do you enjoy?

Brent Johnson: Rock and Roll...Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Pink Floyd are my top three favorites.

Freddy40!!: What other sports were you into as a kid?

Brent Johnson: I was interested in football as a kid but hockey was always my number one sport.

Bluesrock: What was the last good movie you saw?

Brent Johnson: The Count Of Monte Cristo

12345: How often do you change your equipment?

Brent Johnson: I get new equipment every 2-21/2 months.
